New Standard is a general contracting company based in Tucson, Arizona, run by Phillip Acedo. We take on residential and commercial work across the entire state — custom homes and remodels on one end, tenant build-outs and ongoing property maintenance on the other.

Most people's bad contractor story sounds the same: nobody answers the phone, the number moves, the crew disappears for two weeks, and the last ten percent never gets finished. We built this company around not being that. You get a direct line, a written scope, and a crew that cleans up before it leaves.

Arizona is hard on buildings. Sun, monsoon, caliche, heat cycling — it finds every shortcut somebody took. We build for the climate we actually work in, which is the cheapest thing you can do over the life of a property.
